Our Campuses

Our workshops are offered on Thursdays at the First United Methodist Church on 7th St. in Port Angeles  for our Clallam County students and on Wednesdays at San Juan Baptist Church on Discovery Rd. in Port Townsend for our Jefferson County students.  Workshop hours are between 9:00am and 2:30pm with a half hour lunch from 12:00pm - 12:30pm.  Parents bring lunch for their kids and remain onsite with their children during these workshops.

It is required each child sign up for a minimum of one workshop.  Each workshop is 55 minutes long, and there are 5 hours of workshops available during this time period.  Each hour there are several different workshops to choose from for each grade level, with the exception of Kindergarten which has two required workshops.

Families can choose which campus they would like to go to.  Some Sequim families find it's just as easy to drive to the campus in Port Townsend as it is to go to the campus at Methodist Church depending on where they live.  We have had children from Sequim, Port Townsend, Chimacum, Port Hadlock and Quilcene at our Port Townsend campus.

Both campuses have an outdoor area where we often have PE activities, science experiments, nature studies and field day activities.  Both campuses have gyms where PE, ballet, dance, co-operative games and other athletic activities are held.  Both campuses also have kitchens which we utilize for cooking workshops geared towards all ages (these classes are on hold due to Covid, cooking workshops are currently being offered via Zoom).  Both churches have 8+ rooms that are utilized for workshops throughout the day.  Workshops have an average of 8 kids attending, some with less and some with more depending on the type of workshop (example: PE and Choir often have larger numbers attending whereas a foreign language workshop may have less).  Note: Due to Covid we've capped our workshops at 8 students per class.

Each campus has a common area where parents can sit, relax, and network with other families while their children attend workshops.  Each also has a separate nursery room stocked with toys and books where families with littles can let their preschoolers play with other preschoolers.  We strive to make our campuses a place where both parents and their children can feel comfortable throughout the day.
